Protocom's IMS-Echo system attaches to an SMS gateway or SMSC to provide diagnostic information to SMS subscribers regarding problematic messages they have sent.

IMS-Echo responds to messages matching pre-defined selection criteria, whereby an SMS message based on the original error is returned. IMS-Echo can also attempt to correct messages and then re-send.
